The only lime green glider in Poland — Nicotine Pouches x Kinga Tchorz
When Nicotine Pouches, a nicotine pouch brand, teamed up with a glider pilot and Polish national team member Kinga Tchorz, they decided to go far beyond the typical boundaries of sports sponsorship.
Instead of a standard logo on the fuselage or a discreet sticker on the wing, the sponsor wrapped the entire glider for the duration of the Polish Gliding Championships. From nose to tail, the aircraft was covered in lime green with branded product visuals. That was something bold — and not just in terms of looks.
Why are all gliders white?
Gliders are made from composites — plastics reinforced with glass or carbon fibers. These materials are sensitive to heat, and excessive temperatures can weaken their structure. That's why gliders are always painted white — to reflect sunlight and prevent structural damage.
Fully wrapping one in colored vinyl? That’s innovative, calculated and visually stunning — but definitely not common practice.
The photoshoot: ground and air
We wanted to capture this aircraft in its natural environment — the sky. But there was a challenge: shooting through a small side window of a plane is impractical, and photos taken through glass often lack sharpness and contrast.
So we went with the classic aviation photographer's trick: flying in a Cessna with the doors removed. It’s the best way to get clean, vivid aerial shots — and it comes with a serious rush of adrenaline. You’re strapped in tight while the wind tears at your lens, gear and clothing. But it’s worth it — that's how you get the best shot.
The pilot: Kinga Tchorz
The pilot was Kinga Tchorz — Boeing 737 pilot, flight instructor, engineer, multiple-time Polish medalist and international glider competition contestant. Her energy was a perfect fit for this unconventional campaign.
